Bard Medical Division is the market leader in urological drainage, with its Foley catheters and trays, urine drain bags, urethral catheters and trays, irrigation products, leg bags, male external catheters, and temperature-sensing catheters and equipment. Bard Medical is focused on diagnosing, tracking, and reducing nosocomial urinary tract infections (NUTI), resulting in better patient care and the reduction of costs associated with NUTI.

The BARDEX® I.C. Catheter, our featured product for infection control, is a "latex" catheter that incorporates Bard® hydrogel and Bacti-Guard®* silver alloy coating, clinically proven to reduce the incidence of urinary tract infection. In addition, Bard offers several economic forecasting models to help hospitals predict cost savings through the use of the BARDEX I.C. Catheter and associated infection control products. The BARDEX I.C. System is currently in more than 1400 hospitals.

In addition to urology, Bard Medical provides a broad offering of skin and wound care products, wound drainage products, and a variety of specialty tubing products including suction catheters, feeding tubes, and nasogastric tubes.
